Terms and conditions

These Terms and Conditions of Use ("Terms") apply to your use of the Know Your DAS Application ("Application") and the Know Your DAS website (www.knowyourdas.org.uk)("Website") that were developed and are owned by the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society ("NRAS"), a private company limited by guarantee. Registered in England and Wales (no. 7127101). Registered charity in England and Wales (no. 1134859) and Scotland (SC039721).

Please read these Terms carefully, by using the Application and Website you agree to be bound by them.

Data Privacy

In order to make full use of the Application, you will have to provide some information relating to you ("Personal Information"). Before you submit any personal information, you should be aware of how it will be used. By providing your information, you agree to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information as per our Privacy Policy. Reporting of Side Effects

You may choose to enter information about medicines you are taking into the Application. If you have a side effect to report for a medicine, you should contact the manufacturer of that product and your healthcare professional or pharmacist immediately. Relevant contact details for the manufacturers can be found on the manufacturers' websites which should be on any medicine packaging.

Information about adverse reactions to medicines and reporting forms can be found at www.yellowcard.mhra.gov.uk.

Changes to Our Service

The Application and Website are dynamic products, always evolving and getting better. As a result, we may change, eliminate or restrict access to Know Your DAS at any time for any reason, with or without advance notice and with respect to one, some or all of our users.

You are solely responsible for installing update(s) to the Application. You may not be able to access or use some or all features of the Application unless you install relevant update(s).


The Application and Website are provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied.

NRAS disclaims all warranties and conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, NRAS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill or other intangible losses resulting from a) your access to, use of, inability to access or inability to use Know Your DAS; or b) any unauthorized access, use or alteration of your data.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms will be governed by the laws of England and Wales

Entire Agreement

These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and NRAS. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to be in full force and effect.


These Terms may be updated from time to time for any reason. We will notify you of any changes to our Terms by posting the new Terms here and informing you via email or text message. You are advised to consult these Terms regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
